On The Road Again

Lisa and I are about to set off on some new adventures this Fall. In preparation for this and with the help of our good friend Hunter, we have created a new web page at www.theglobe-trotters.com. While we will continue to send e-mails about our travels as we have done previously, we will now also post them on this web page, where they will be available for you to review at your leisure, and where you can direct friends whom you think would also enjoy our ramblings. In addition, on this page we will have a direct link to our photograph gallery on Picasa, which will make following our pictures much simpler than in the past.

Our first trip this Fall with be on The Royal Princess, sailing round-trip from Athens, Greece. On these two back to back cruises we will visit the following ports:

First Sailing

When our ship returns to Athens, we are scheduled to fly straight home and with the exception of a short family trip around Thanksgiving we will be home until December.

Then we are scheduled to fly to the island of Mahe in the Seychelles. This is an island chain that lies off the west coast of Africa and is north of the island of Madagascar. There we will join our ship the SilverWind and cruise to Cape Town, South AfricaAlong the way we will be visiting some unusual ports of call and are scheduled for an animal safari in Tanzanai at the famed Ngorongoro Crater.

First Sailing

We certainly hope that we get time to keep everyone up to speed and to post some photographs along the way. If you have any suggestions for things that you would like to see, please let us know.

Ciao,
